We specialize in bringing visions to life both big and small—anything to do with your outdoor space – our team can take it on. Alongside our experienced workforce, we have strong partnerships with some of the province’s best landscape architects.

Meet the Ground Force management team
Sean Reid, Founder
Sean Reid is a Halifax, Nova Scotia-based business professional and community leader. Sean studied Commerce at Saint Mary’s University, and is an active member of EO Atlantic. Sean engages with this entrepreneurial network to share knowledge, mentor peers, and contributes to regional business growth. He previously served on the Board of Landscape Nova Scotia, where he supported industry advocacy, governance, and strategic initiatives to strengthen the Province’s landscaping sector.
Sean combines community-focused leadership with a strong commitment to his family. He is married, and a father of three daughters. Sean has a passion for great food, and loves spending time in the kitchen cooking up a storm, creating delicious meals for his family. Sean also has a passion for golf, and recently celebrated a big birthday with a trip to the Open.
Devin, Controller
Congratulations Devin. As Controller, he has kept our finance and admin teams running strong for the past five years. A true, team-first leader, on and off the job. When he’s not at work, you’ll find him in Hammonds Plains with his wife and son, coaching baseball, golfing, or cheering on the Mooseheads.
Moe, Lead Estimator
Every successful project starts with great people. For five years Moe has brought his financial, estimating and planning expertise to every site he steps on — helping shape the landscapes and relationships that define Ground Force. Moe’s favourite hobby outside of work, is work.
Alyssa, Operations Manager
Alyssa started with Ground Force two years ago as Operations Manager. She is the one who keeps us organized, keeps our projects on track, and keeps the whole team moving in the right direction – she is the force in Ground Force. Alyssa is married with three children that manage to keep her busy outside of work.
Reggie, Project Manager
As a Project Manager, Reggie is a dedicated employee with over nine years at Ground Force. He is responsible to oversee sites, to coordinate with clients and crews, and ensure the correct equipment and materials show up on time. When Reggie’s day is finished he loves spending time with his wife, daughter and his Golden Retriever, Lenny. Ask Reggie to tell you about his recent hole-in-one.
Andrew, Project Manager
After more than eighteen years in Western Canada, working as a Project Manager for a preeminent National commercial roofing company, Andrew has returned home to his Nova Scotia roots and family. Andrew has taken on the role as a Project Manager at Ground Force. After work Andrew loves curling up with his two fur babies and taking in a little golf, hockey, or football.
Dave, Snow and Ice Manager
For six months of the year, Dave runs our sister company Turf Medic. The other six months you can find Dave looking after some of our biggest snow and ice control clients. With over thirty years of snow and ice control experience Dave knows how to manage customer expectations throughout all seasons. When it’s warm enough, Dave loves to play golf – just ask him about his recent hole in one.
Barb, Office Manager
Barb is the heart and the glue of Ground Force. Beyond her very busy schedule, she’s always looking out for everyone. Making sure the entire team has what they need, and keeping everyone in good humour. Barb is an avid gardener, and when called upon, an accomplished in-house photographer for Ground Force.
